“I was completely lost with the NDIS paperwork. GNCS did the ARF + OT Functional Capacity Assessment and explained everything in plain English. We did the assessment face to face, and the price was clear from the start—no surprises. Friendly, respectful and fast to call back.”
Aisha K. Participant (Broadmeadows)
-
“My brother attends the day programmes and it’s the first time he actually looks forward to going out. The team is patient, activities are purposeful (not just ‘keeping busy’), and communication with our family is spot on. Transport has been reliable too.”
Steve L. Family Carer (Glenroy)
-
“Intake is quick, notes are tidy, and staff pick up the phone. GNCS are fantastic at handover and goal tracking. They problem-solve rather than bounce people around. Participants tell me they feel listened to.”
Maddie P. Support Coordinator (Coburg)

“I used the budget calculator on their site then had a call to plan services. No sales pressure—just honest advice about what would actually help. We started small and added supports as I got comfortable.”
Omar S. Participant (Roxburgh Park)

Step 1 — Understand how the NDIS works
What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funds reasonable and necessary supports for people with a permanent or significant disability. It’s designed to help you live more independently, increase your skills, and participate in the community.
Who can apply?
-
Have a permanent disability that affects daily living
-
Are under 65 years old when applying
-
Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Special Category Visa holder
-
Live in an area where the NDIS is available
If you’re unsure whether you meet the criteria, our team can help you check eligibility and prepare the right documents.
Step 2 — Gather your evidence
The NDIS needs evidence of your disability and how it impacts your life.
This usually includes:
A diagnosis or medical report from your GP or specialist
Functional evidence showing how your disability affects daily activities (like mobility, self-care, learning, or communication)
Allied Health reports — such as from an Occupational Therapist (OT), Physiotherapist, or Psychologist
Our team can help you collect the right evidence and make sure it meets NDIS requirements.
Step 3 — Get support with your Access Request
ARF + FCA Fast-Track (OT-led)
If you don’t yet have an NDIS plan, GNCS offers a complete Access Request Form (ARF) and Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) service — led by a registered Occupational Therapist.
You’ll receive:
A full FCA report (in-person or telehealth)
Guidance completing your NDIS Access Request Form
A clear checklist of supporting documents
Submission support to the NDIA
Capped at just $1,499 — compared to other providers charging $3,000+.
Step 4 — Plan your supports
Once you’re approved, you’ll work with an NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) to create your plan. GNCS can help you:
Understand what each funding category means
Prioritise your goals
Identify which supports to start with
Connect with the right workers or services
Use our NDIS Budget Calculator to estimate your supports and stay in control of your funding.
Step 5 — Choose the right provider
Your NDIS plan gives you the freedom to choose who delivers your supports.
If you’re not happy with your current provider or want more local, personalised care, you can easily change providers at any time.
Visit our Change Your Provider page for a step-by-step guide and downloadable template letter to make it stress-free.
