Step-by-step: how to change your provider
1. Review your current agreement
Check your current Service Agreement or Support Plan.
Look for:

The required notice period (usually 7–28 days)

Any steps you need to follow before ending services
If you need help interpreting your agreement, our team can walk you through it in plain English.
2. Notify your current provider
Let your provider know you’ve decided to move on. You can:

Call or email them directly

Use our “Change of Provider” template letter (contact us for a copy)
Keep it short, polite, and clear about the end date.
Example:
“I would like to end my services with [Provider Name] as of [Date]. Please finalise any outstanding invoices and update my NDIS portal to reflect this change.”
3. Contact GNCS
Once you’ve given notice, we’ll:

Review your current plan and help map your goals
